The fine folks at the Riverside Drive-In and DVD Drive-In have announced their lineup for this year’s spring show, and as usual, they have one hell of a lineup. Friday the 26th, you have a mixture of different types of zombie films, then on Saturday the 27th, you have a nice bunch of sci-fi/horror films that were almost made to be seen at the drive-in! They have released the lineup for this fall’s Drive-In Super Monster Rama at the Riverside Drive-in in Vandergrift, PA, taking place Sept. 22nd and 23rd. If this wasn’t so damn far away, I would be there. Such an amazing lineup both night, getting to see some classic titles that were meant for the drive-in! For those fans of slasher films, this is one weekend you might want to plan on heading out the Riverside Drive-In in Vandergrift, PA. Over Friday and Saturday nights, Aril 28th & 29th, you’ll have the opportunity to see 8 classic slasher films on the big drive-in screen! There are some classic titles in there, as well as some rarities that will probably be the first chance of you seeing them on the big screen! The lineup for this year’s April Ghouls Drive-in Monster Rama has been announced! And if you’re a fan of the ’80s, then you’re going to be in for a real treat. Such a great mixture of titles, from renowned classics to some great titles that you’ll have the chance to see on the big screen.

How would you like to be able to see 8 classic Italian giallo films over two nights on the big screen? Then start making your plans to go to this fall’s Drive-In Super Monster-Rama on Sept. 17th & 18th for their Giallopalooza, taking place at the Riverside Drive-in in Vandergrift, PA. The titles have have announced are some of the best of the sub-genre and are going to give fans a wide range of entertainment, from the over-the-top exploitation style of Sergio Martino (Torso & Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key) or classic giallo like masters like Dario Argento (The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, The Cat O’Nine Tails & Deep Red), Mario Bava’s (Blood and Black Lace), and Lucio Fulci (Lizard in a Woman’s Skin).

Well, they finally announced the complete lineup for the fall Super Monster-Rama and I am doing all I can to try and figure out a way to make it to this one. I mean, how can any self-respecting Paul Naschy fan skip out on seeing not one, not two, but THREE Naschy flicks on the big screen?!?!? Plus, it is a Spanish horror theme for the whole weekend. If a triple dose of Naschy wasn’t enough, then about adding in Blind Dead film? Or Jorge Grau’s amazing zombie flick, Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue! Then you throw in some rare & obscure titles like Graveyard of Horrors and The Dracula Saga, that just makes the cake.
So while I’m still trying to figure out a way, you should start making your plans to head out to this event. It takes place on Friday, Sept. 20th and Saturday, Sept. 21st, at the Riverside Drive-in in Vandergrift, PA.
While they haven’t announced the full lineup just yet, they have given us the 4 titles that will be playing Friday night. And if you’re a fan of Spanish horror, then you might want to start making plans.
