Mystery Photo 5-8

Welcome to Monday, which means another Mystery Photo! I know…its what you all live for. Before we get to this week’s mystery pic, let’s review last week’s. It was from the 1992 film Winterbeast, which is a must watch for those that love Turkey Movies! So much fun. I mean, for a film that has some stop-motion monsters in the first 5 minutes of the movie, how could it not be entertaining??? Kudos out to Billy Nocera & William Wilson for sending in the correct answer. If you haven’t seen this and love some nice cheesy movies, I think you should check it out.

Okay…on to this week’s photo. Might be an easy one…might not. But give a look and see what you can come up with.

As always, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not post your answers here so others can have a chance at sending in their guess. Just send your guess to us in an email, to jon@kitleyskrypt.com. Good Luck!

Mystery Photo 5-17

Better late than not at all, right? Busy day today, otherwise this would have been posted a little sooner. But no worries…it’s here now! Before we get to this week’s photo, let’s do a little recap on last week’s. It was from an early lesser known slasher flick from 1979 called Savage Weekend, which stars William Sanderson a few years before he appeared in Blade Runner, and David Gale, who later would become a cult star as the famous body-less Dr. Hill in Re-Animator! Congrats out to the following who sent in the correct answers: Hoby Abernathy, William Wilson, and Greg Wojick. Well done!

So while on the obscure titles, let’s throw out another one and see if anybody recognizes this little gem. Good luck…you just might need it!

As always, please remember not to post your answers here so everyone can have a chance. Just send us an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com.

Mystery Photo 4-24

Welcome to our last Monday of April. Time is just flying by, huh? But that just means that Halloween will be around the corner before we know it, and that’s always a good thing! Okay, before we get to this week’s photo, let us recap a little. Our little mystery pic from last week was from the 1957 little gem The Unearthly, starring John Carradine, Allison Hayes, Myron Healey, and Tor Johnson, who actually had a speaking role in this one! Once again, Carradine is playing a mad scientist which is something he did so well. Congrats to the following for sending in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy, Michael Shields, & Alan Tromp.

So this week’s is going to be a little obscure, but maybe not to those that live on the outskirts of what’s popular. Give a peak and see what you can think of. Good luck!

As always, please remember not to post your answers here, but send them in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com, that way everyone can have a chance.

Yes, we didn’t have a new photo last week, but I blame the amazing weekend we had at Cinema Wasteland before it. So you’ll have to excuse the no new photo then. But, we do have one today. But before we get to it, lets go over our last photo. It was from the 1935 film The Raven, starring Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi. Lugosi plays a mad doctor with a passion for Poe, even having a pendulum in his basement! Kudos out to the following for sending in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy, Cate Cameron, Bill Harrison, Troy Howarth, Jeff Owens, Michael Shields, & William Wilson. Well done!

Now lets take a good look at this week’s photo and see what might happen when you forget to moisturize! Remember, please don’t post your answers here, so everyone can have a chance at it. Just send us an email at jon@kitleyskrypt.com. Good Luck!

Mystery Photo 4-3

It looks like we stumped everyone with last week’s photo. It was from the 1972 giallo The Crimes of the Black Cat, which features a very brutal shower murder sequences. We didn’t even get a guess or two either, which is surprising. Oh well….let’s get on to this week’s photo, which I think you might find a little easier. Maybe.

But as always, please remember not to post your answers here, so others can have a try at it. Just send us your guess in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com. Good Luck!

Hey Kiddies…yeah, I missed it last week. That’s what happens after an amazing convention weekend where you get very little sleep, then get home about 4 hours before you’re supposed to get up to go to work. Some times are just not going to get done! But this is a new Monday, and things are somewhat back to normal. Or at least enough to have a new photo!

But first, let us go over the last one we did. It was from the 1981 British film about a plane crash called The Survivor. Not to be confused with Sole Survivor, which came out two years later. This one stars Robert Powell and Jenny Agutter and directed by David Hemmings. But even with having two weeks to ponder this one, it seems we only had one correct answer sent in, which was from Jaeson Finn. So kudos out to you, Jaeson!

So…here’s our latest photo. Sorry to say, but I think this one is going to be a tough one. Sorry for the lesser quality of it, but that is the best source I had. I will tell you right now, it is not from Psycho, so don’t even bother sending that one in. This is in color, not black and white. And don’t try to tell me there was some remake made in the ’90s…that’s just more of that alternate fact stuff.

As always, please remember not to post your answers here but send them in an email to me at jon@kitleyskrypt.com. Good Luck!

Mystery Photo 3-13

Our photo from last week was from the 1957 film Kronos (not to be confused with the Hammer one from the early 70s), about an alien force trying to suck up all of our energy! Ah…the good old days. Kudos to the following for sending in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy, Bill Harrison, Rick Hayden, Michael Shields, George Sourile, and William Wilson. Well done!

Now on to this week’s photo. Another one that might look familiar or maybe not. But either way, we thought it was a great looking shot. Good luck!

As always, please don’t post your answers here in the comments as to give others a try. Just email me your answers at jon@kitleyskrypt.com.

Mystery Photo 3-8

Welcome to Monday, once again. Another start of the week and another chance at guessing at our Mystery Photo. Last week’s photo was from an old British classic anthology film from Amicus, the 1972 film Tales from the Crypt, from the Monkey’s Paw segment, always showing you, be careful what you wish for. Congrats to the following who sent in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy, Wendy Bodine, Aaron Christensen, Bill Harrison, Ricky Hayden, Troy Howarth, Erik Martin, Richard Schellbach, Michael Shields, Mark Turner, and Will Wilson. Always nice to see so many fans of this movie.

Our next film is one from one of our favorite years of cinema, if that is a hint. Take a look and see if you can identify this one. Good luck!

As always, please do not post your answers here, to give others a chance at it.

Mystery Photo 2-20

Greetings! Welcome to another Monday morning Mystery Photo! Last week’s pic was from that family friendly film Buio Omega, also known as Beyond the Darkness or Buried Alive, depending on which format you originally saw this little treat from director Joe D’Amato. Yes, it is  a brutal little film, isn’t it? But it does have some fans because we got quite a few correct answers sent in. They were: Hoby Abernathy, Scott Bradley, Dustin Moravich, Michael Shields, Wayne Teeter, Tom White, William Wilson, and Greg Wojick. Nicely done!

So on to this week’s photo. Might be an easy one…or not. We’ll have to wait and see. But take a good look and see if anything comes to mind. Good Luck!

And PLEASE, do not post your answers here, so everyone else can have a chance.

Mystery Photo 2-13

Welcome to another Monday morning. And that can only mean another Mystery Photo, right? Well, as usual, lets get to last week’s photo first. It was from the wonderful cheesy slasher film The Mutilator from 1984, when plots and quality acting didn’t matter, as long as we had some gore. And in this film, we had plenty of that! Congrats to the following for sending in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy, Richard Garcia, William Wilson, and Greg Wojick. Nicely done!

Okay…so this shot is from a nice little love story. Seriously. See if you can’t identify the movie from the shot of this nice woman.

But PLEASE REMEMBER….Do NOT post your answers here but send them to me in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com. We want everyone to have a chance at the photo. Good luck!
