Another Monday, another Mystery Photo. Our pic from last week was from Paul Naschy’s La Venganza de la Momia aka The Mummy’s Revenge. Nothing like squeezing the head like a melon, right? Kudos to Elena Anele and Mike Tutino for sending in the correct answer.

Now on to this week’s photo. Sure…might just be a picture of a wall. Or maybe it is something else? Who knows…if you stare at it long enough…you just might see something. Or not.

It seems I completely forgot about getting a new photo up last week. Must have been one muther of a Monday! But today we’re back with a new photo. But first, let’s review our last one. It seems we stumped everyone with that last one, not getting a single correct answer. But it was a tough one. The shot was from the 1986 film The Supernaturals, about some ghosts from the Civil War coming back for blood. Not a great movie, but not terrible either. Plus you get to see a few familiar faces in there too.

But anyway, let’s get to this week’s photo. Though, I have to say, this one might not be any easier. But then again, that is the whole idea, right? Monday once again, so that means a new Mystery Photo. Our last one was from the highly underrated film Beyond the Door. While a lot of people consider this a rip-off of The Exorcist, I say that it is different enough to definitely stand on its own, and is well worth the watch. Kudos to Humberto Amador and Mark Turner for sending in the correct answer. This scene in particular is a great non-digital effect that I’ve always found highly effective.

Sorry folks…had every intention of getting this up yesterday but the time just slipped away. But no worries…here we are with this week’s Mystery Photo. Our photo from last week was from Jason X. I figured with a close up like that it might be a little harder to recognize it, and apparently it worked since I only got two people with the correct answer. They would be Hoby Abernathy and Aaron Christensen. And before you might snicker at the movie, if you haven’t seen it, you might want to. Pretty damn entertaining and one of my favorites of the series.
