Mystery Photo 8-21

Okay, when I can stump even the great Hoby Abernathy, then I know I’ve picked a pretty tough mystery photo. That’s right, nobody sent in the correct answer on this one, though a few did have a good guess. And if you didn’t get it, I don’t think you should feel too bad about it, nor would I suggest you run out and find and watch this flick. It was from the 1978 film Doctor Dracula, which Al Adamson co-directed. Great movie? Uh…no. Worth watching…uh….that’s on you.

So this week’s photo might be a little easier, especially if you’ve been paying attention to my recent posts. There’s a hint if you ever needed one. That should make up for this last one! Good luck!

Mystery Photo 8-14

Last week’s photo seemed to be a big hit with everyone, getting a lot of correct answers sent in. Well done! The memorable shot was from one of my favorites, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, which you can see his face just behind the plastic he’s holding up. Kudos out to the following: Hoby Abernathy, Dave Fronto, Richard Garcia, Bill Harrison, Troy Howarth, Jim Towns, and Mark Turner.

Okay, this week’s photo is going to be a bit tougher. In fact, I’ll be shocked if anybody can come up with this one. Sounds like a challenge, doesn’t it? So let’s see who might recognize it. Good luck!

That time again, folks. Time to start the new week once again. But before we get back into the grind, let’s take a peek at this week’s photo. But before we do that, let us review last week’s photo! It was from Lamberto Bava’s 1987 giallo Delirium. Great cast in that one! Kudos to the following for sending in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy, Troy Howarth, and Bryan Martinez.

Now to get to this week’s photo. I found this one just hanging around so I thought I’d use it! So take a good look and see if you can identify the film. Good luck!

As always please remember not to post your answers here, so others can have a chance at it. Just send them to us in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com.

Sorry for the late posting, but its Monday, so that has to mean a new Mystery Photo, right? Before we get to this week’s, let us go over our last one. It was from the 1981 slasher flick Graduation Day. How could you go wrong with a movie starring Christopher George? Congrats to the following that sent in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy and Robert Freese. Well done, guys!

Okay, so here is this week’s photo for you to take a ponder on. Just remember not to post your answers here, but instead put them in an email to us at jon@kitleyskrypt.com.

Good Luck!

Welcome to Monday. Not been a good weekend for us horror fans, so let us just get to the photo. Last week’s pic was from Hammer’s The Gorgon (1964). Not one of their classics, but a damn good cast and a lot of fun. Kudos to the following that sent in the correct answer: Hoby Abernathy, Aaron Christensen, Bill Harrison, Troy Howarth, Doug Lamoreux, Gary Miller, Michael Shields, and Will Wilson. Well done!

Now to this week’s photo. There are some Mondays that this is kind of how I feel when trying to get out of bed! Take a look and see if you can identify this piece of cinema. As always, please remember not to post your answers here, but send them to us in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com. Good Luck!

Welcome to Monday! Hopefully you are getting to enjoy this day as a holiday, like I am. If not…uh…sorry. But even though this is a holiday, I still made sure you had a new Mystery Photo today. This is a lot of work, you know! Okay…maybe not a LOT….

Our photo from last week was from the 2007 French film Frontier(s). Congrats to Dustin Moravich and Will Wilson for sending in the correct answer.

So let us get to this week’s photo. Might be an easy one for most of you out there, or at least the older fans. But this is a childhood favorite of mine, so if you don’t know it, then there is a clue for you. In either case, good luck. And as always, please don’t post your answers here, but send them to us in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com.

Mystery Photo 6-26

A little late today, but better than nothing, right? We didn’t get back until late last night from our trip to Mars, PA for this year’s Monster Bash. Had an amazing time, as usual. But let’s get down to business. The only two that sent in the correct answer, unless I lost another one, was Hoby Abernathy & Troy Howarth. The shot was from Antonio Margheriti’s Long Hair of Death (1964), starring the alluring Barbara Steele. Worth seeing if you haven’t.

Okay, so lets travel a bit more and see if you can come up with the title of this film. Just remember to send us your answers in an email, to jon@kitleyskrypt.com, and not post them here, so everyone else can have a chance. Good luck!

Mystery Photo 6-19

Greetings, my fellow film fanatics! Here we are back for another photo puzzle on this film Monday morning. But, as always, before we get to this week’s photo, let’s recap what we posted last week. In honor of his birthday on Saturday, I thought it would nice to give him a little nod in our Mystery Photo. I’m talking about Lucio Fulci, of course. And the picture is from his 1990 film Demonia. How can one go wrong with demonic Italian nuns? Kudos to Hoby Abernathy, Doug Lamoreux and Will Wilson for sending in the correct answer.

Now, let’s get to this week’s photo. Another black and white one, but still one of my favorites. Gaze into the eye and see if the terror therein tells you the name of the picture. Worth a shot….never know.

As always, please remember not to post your answer here, but send them to us in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com. Good Luck!

Mystery Photo 6-12

Monday once again. And now that summer has really kicked in, it makes the day even more enjoyable…not! Counting the days until fall starts. Anyway, before we get to this week’s photo, let us go over last week’s. It was from the 1957 flick Zombies of Mora Tau, starring the lovely Allison Hayes! While not the zombies we know these days, they did manage to create a few chilling moments in this fun little monster movie. Kudos to Hoby Abernathy and Doug Lamoreux. Nicely done.

Okay, our photo for this week’s brain teaser might be an easy one. Or it might be one that is just on the tip of your…brain, but you just can’t seem to reach it. But give it a good college try!

And remember, please do not post your answers here in the comments so everyone can have a chance. Just send them in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com

Mystery Photo 6-5

Happy Monday, Everyone! Let’s not waste any time and get right to what you’re here for! Our photo from last week was from a film that is sadly missing from any DVD or Blu-ray release, though I’ve been told for the last decade it seems that “its coming”, but we’ll just have to wait and see. But the film of which I speak of is the 1987 slimy monster flick The Kindred. If you can find a copy, I’d definitely check it out. Lots of great old fashion rubber monster effects that are pretty damn cool. Kudos out to Gary Miller and William Wilson for sending in the correct answer.

So for this week’s photo, we’re going old school once again. You know I just love an old black and white classic flick…just does something for me. But take a peek at it and see what you can come up with.

Please remember not to post your answers here, but send them in an email to jon@kitleyskrypt.com. Good luck!
