Another Monday of 2021 that we’ve survived to. I’d say that is something worth celebrating. But for some folks out there, they are struggling with losing someone. Or are struggling to get through the day. I know it’s not easy, but remember that before going on on someone for something that really is pretty petty. Didn’t think you’d be getting some life advice coming to the Krypt, huh? Well, I’ll try not to make it a regular thing, but I just know that we can do better than what we’ve been doing, myself included.

But let’s get to why you’re here … our Mystery Photo. Unfortunately, nobody sent in the correct answer for last week’s photo. It was from Midnight Movie (2008), a fun little movie killer comes out from the screen. As far as this week’s, I think it might be a little easier, and definitely not as obscure. Or is it? Welcome to another Monday. Right. Okay, now that is over, let’s get to the business at hand! Last week’s photo was a tough one, I’ll give you that. Which amazed even more that we got more than a couple of correct answers. You guys keep making me proud! The shot was from a French TV movie called The Golem (1967). Whether or not it is a horror film could be debated, as well as just what the hell the movie is about! But we’ll leave that for another time. Sorry for the lack of updates as of late. Things in the real world have been keeping from getting done what I’d like to. As well as battling some severe bouts of simple lack of motivation. I know the stress of my real job is what I think is the major cause, but hopefully that will start to get back to normal. Fingers crossed. But for now, let’s get to our task at hand.

We didn’t have anybody send in a correct answer for last week’s Mystery Photo. It was from the 2007 chilling ghost story (in more ways than one) called Wind Chill. I’m always a sucker for a good ghost story and I think this one works well.

Where did the weekend go? Not sure, since I’ve worked both days this weekend. Yeah…. fun, fun, fun! But that’s the fun part of this roller coaster we’re on, that the ride keeps moving no matter what. So you just need to hold on tight and enjoy it, right? That’s what I keep telling myself.

Anyway, our photo from last week was a bit of a toughie, and we only got one correct answer sent in, and that was from Greg Wojick, who correctly identified the photo from Satan’s Slave, an Indonesian horror film from 1982. Well done, Greg!

Welcome to February! One more day, one more month, to hoping things start get back to normal. I know we have a ways to go, but let’s hope we’re moving in the right direction!
