The Skyline Drive-in, in Shelbyville, IN, has announced their lineup for this year’s Super Monster Movie Fest and it’s one hell of a collection of Metal Monsters coming to invade! There is free camping and the one and only Sammy Terry live on stage each night! We’ve been making this an annual trip for us, staying the whole weekend and just having a great time. Whether you’re camping out at the drive-in, or crashing at one of the local hotels, there is plenty to do to keep you busy. There is plenty of tasty treats at the snack bar to keep that belly full and they usually have a bunch of vendors set up there as well, so bring some extra spending money.

The Car Soundtrack Review
The Car
Released by Intrada
26 Tracks, with a total running time of 40:50 min.
Composed and Conducted by Leonard Rosenman
The Car was a film that stuck in my head as a kid, even though it took years for me to finally get to see it, Just seeing the trailer on TV had etched it in my brain, especially the part with the car coming at the window. Such a great scene.
Devilish Driving Tunes
Just read that these two soundtracks are getting a release on CD. All I can say is…Wow. Never thought I would ever see the day that someone would put out the score for the 1977 film The Car. I can still remember seeing the TV trailer for this movie, because I couldn’t get anybody to take me to see the actual movie, so the trailer was all I had. But once I finally did get to see it, I just loved it. But now, thanks to Intrada, we’ll get to hear it. I am very excited to see what this score by Leonard Rosenman is going to entail. I can only hope that one track features that mind-jarring horn from the Car.
Also, Intrada is putting out Billy Goldenberg’s score for Duel, one of the best made-for-TV movies ever.
