Tis Always the Season…

Yes, Halloween is over. At least it is according to the calendar. But for us fans of horror, every day is Halloween. It’s a comment I make quite often, because for me, it’s true. I know that for most people reading this, the horror genre isn’t something we follow at certain times of the year, but every single day. It is our passion. Yes, during the month of October, we almost fit in with the rest of the world. But come November 1st, they go back to planning for the big consumer holiday in a couple of months. Hell, those decorations have already been in the store for over a month now! But I digress.

I guess my point is something we all know already, that the horror genre is something to be enjoyed, embraced, experienced, every part of the year. When the big consumer holiday comes, we try to promote buying gifts for fellow fans, like the ever growing of amazing books out there. Or maybe a print from a favorite artist, or maybe something  from your favorite shops on Etsy. The point is to help support those creative people out there that are putting their soul into their craft. Whether it is through words, paint, ink, or whatever process, we need to keep showing them that their art matters.

Our convention season is over for this year, so we are looking forward to doing a lot of catching up on some movies and books, while we prepare for next year’s shows. Our first one will be in March at the HorrorHound Weekend in Cincinnati, where we start it all over once again. We’ve updated our convention schedule for 2020 on our World Tour link at the top. Thanks to everyone that came out and bought something from myself, or my wife (Horror Slave). We really appreciate your business! As well as the ones that just come over to chat about the movies we all love!

As we wait for the snow to bury us for the next several months, it means that will be able to get caught up on all those movies that we’ve bought over the last month from all those damn sales! Nothing better than sitting down in the recliner with a blanket and a couple of classic flicks to keep you entertained for the evening!

Let’s all continue to keep that Halloween feeling alive and well all year round!
