Last October we reported that the complete scores that James Bernard created for Hammer’s The Curse of Frankenstein and Horror of Dracula would be coming out on CD, in their complete form, for the first time ever. And now, they are here!
These scores have been newly recorded by the acclaimed and award-winning City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Nic Raine. This release also includes a 20-page full color booklet with liner notes by David Huckvale, plus some original film stills and poster art. This release contains over 70 minutes of music, including a bonus track of “Rhapsody for Lucy”, composed by Leigh Phillips from the Dracula Theme by Bernard.
