Being that my “real” job has been more than a bit stressful these last few weeks, I’m even more thrilled to have this year’s Flashback Weekend coming up in just a few days. Nothing more enjoyable than escaping from the real world and getting to hang out with a bunch of like-minded horror fans. And Flashback Weekend is just the place to do it!

Once again, they have a huge lineup of guests, including a celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Child’s Play, with a slew of guests from not only the original, but some from the series as well, such as director Tom Holland, and actors Brad Dourif, Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, and Christine Elise. And to celebrate how great a director Tom Holland is, there will also be a Fright Night reunion with William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, Jonathan Stark, and makeup artist Steve Johnson.

For fans of the Friday the 13th series, you’ll get to see 5 different Jasons: Ken Kirzinger, Ted White, Steve Dash, Tom Morga, C.J. Graham.

Then there is Dana Delorenzo & Ray Santiago from Ash vs Evil Dead, as well as Charles Band, Cerina Vincent, Tamara Glynn, Michael Berryman, Paul T. Taylor, Lynn Lowry, and Felissa Rose.

Plus the usual awesome Q&A panels, outdoor screenings, the incredible dealer’s room (including US!), and so much more that equals plenty of fun.

Don’t forget that they will (hopefully) be announcing the date and possibly some titles for this year’s From Dusk til Dawn show at the Midway Drive-in. If you haven’t made the trip out to Dixon, IL to the Midway Drive-in, then I would highly recommend it. We’ve been there more than a few times over the years and have always had a great time.
