The Skyline Drive-In Theater in Shelbyville, IN has finally announced the lineup for this year’s Super Monster Movie Fest. Their Don’t Go In The Water marathon is taking place on Aug. 24th and 25th, with the movies starting around dusk. They don’t have an official schedule posted yet, as far as what is playing and when, but here are the titles they have announced in alphabetical order:

Alligator (1980)
Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)
Godzilla (1954)
Humanoids from the Deep (1980)
It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955)
Jaws (1975)
Leviathan (1989)
Piranha (1978)

Talk about an amazing lineup of aquatic terrors! I’ve seen Creature from the Black Lagoon a few times in a regular theater and is it just amazing seeing it that way. Of course, anytime opportunity to see a Harryhausen film on the big screen, that is simply a must. Not to mention getting to see the original Big G tearing things up is always a treat. So yeah…they have one hell of a lineup for us fans. 

It just so happens this is the same weekend as the HorrorHound convention in Indianapolis, which is going to make it “challenging” for me to make it out there, but my plan is still to make it both nights. Sleep is optional, but seeing these great titles on the big screen at a drive-in theater is NOT!
