Being a movie fan today is just awesome. From the countless cult titles that keep getting released, to more reference books coming out that I can barely keep up, to even soundtracks from pretty obscure films getting released! To prove this statement, you will now be able to enjoy the musical score for the 1957 film Monster from Green Hell, thanks to the fine folks at Kritzerland!
Composer Albert Glasser worked on more than a few films that most would consider low budget B-movie fare, but to fans of those titles, we just love them! His scores were always full of life and enhancing the action and terror on the screen. His work included several films for Bert I. Gordon, such as The Cyclops (1957), The Amazing Colossal Man (1957) and its sequel War of the Colossal Beast (1958), Earth vs the Spider (1958), Tormented (1960), and many more. And now, the work he did for Kenneth G. Crane’s giant bug movie can now be enjoyed!
The score was taken from Glasser’s own tapes and restored by Chris Malone. This release is priced at $19.98 and will only have 1000 copies available, so if you’re interested, then you better place your order now. You can order it directly from Kritzerland’s website HERE.
